My Fifty of Fifty adventure, aka Project 50, — 50 days, 50 photos with a 50mm lens. Simple concept, but to actually complete this project at a reasonable standard takes some serious dedication, personal motivation, oh & good friends help too.
This new project for 2011 will run 1st September – 20th October & to make it a little more insane/challenging than last year, I've decided to do a short 'How-I-Shoot' style post for each & every photo… So that should kill me nicely… bye bye sleeping.
I get asked a lot — “Why are you doing this?”, generally my answer is — “Just for the sake of it”. But let me expand on that a little more. To me the value of this project is completely inherent in the act of doing it or, more importantly, the act of completing it at a level of quality with which I am happy while thoroughly documenting it — I'm doing it to prove to myself that I can.
